Members of the debate club showed off their knowledge and skills in assembly this week. The Proposition was that everyone should become vegetarian. The Opposition argued their case for people to eat meat as well.

Both sides presented their views and arguments and then the Secondary students had to vote on who presented their case more convincingly.

The debate club has been running this term as a co-curricular activity and has been met with popularity as our students develop their confidence and their democratic skills. We encourage our students to have and voice their opinions and we are pleased that so many of our students have joined the debate club.
