Straits International School Penang

We are proud parents of Samantha Tan & Darrence Tan. Both first joined SIS at the old campus and since then growing together here in SIS. Samantha has achieved well in her academics that brings her great opportunities receiving scholarships from the school since Year 7. She enjoys her learning journey here and has demonstrated a strong ability to perform on stage in the "We Will Rock You" School production in 2019. It was a magnificent production which has blown me and the audience away. We believe in the balance of academic and extra-curriculum that the school has offered. Despite the pandemic that hit us this year, the teachers and school managements has done very well in continuing their efforts delivering their online lessons as per scheduled. It was a very well engaging lesson between both teachers and students.

We have seen Isaac grow over the years since he enrolled into SIS five years ago. He had improved academically and in his confidence, thanks to the excellent teaching staff at the school. We would say that the school had provided a well-rounded education, not just in academics but also in sports, social and community activities. Each time we met with Ms. Karlie, school teachers and administrative staff, they were always so positive and much open to feedback. Please keep up the good work.

I have been in this school for over 6 years. I joined this school in 2014 and I was Year 5 at the time. Now I'm completing my final year and graduating soon. SIS has provided me with a supportive learning environment with educators who genuinely care about the well-being of students, on top of their excellent teaching abilities. My time at the school is filled with joyful memories I've created with my schoolmates from all around the world. SIS has truly shaped me into the person I am today and I'll always be grateful for that.
